PURPOSE: A s-cam shaft for a vehicle brake and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the size of a mold and manufacturing cost through manufacturing a shaft portion by round bar processing and manufacturing a cam portion by forging die processing. CONSTITUTION: A s-cam shaft for a vehicle brake comprises a shaft part(40) and a head part(30). The shaft part comprises a body portion(41) and a protrusion portion(43). The protrusion portion is formed into one body with the front end of the body portion. The head part comprises a hole passing through the center. The hole is composed of a first portion and a second portion. The upper portion of the head part and the upper portion of the protrusion portion are welded. The lower portion of the head part and the exterior surface of the body portion are welded. |
