PURPOSE: A length-measuring device for a continuous casting slab is provided to accurately measure the length of a slab with a non-contact method, thereby solving a measurement error problem generated by the abrasion of a rotary wheel. CONSTITUTION: A length-measuring device for a continuous casting slab comprises a fixing frame(110), a rotary arm(120), a distance measuring sensor(130), a driving cylinder(140), and a controller(200). The fixing frame is installed in front at one side of a roller table. The rotary arm is hinge-connected to the fixing frame to be rotatable. The distance measuring sensor is arranged in a front end portion of the rotary arm for measuring a front cross section distance value between front cross section surfaces of a slab. |
