A COMMUNICATION METHOD OF CONTENTS ROUTER TO CONTROL A TRAFFIC TRANSMISSION RATE IN A CONTENT CENTRIC NETWORK AND THE CONTENT ROUTER

PURPOSE: A contents router communicating method and a contents router thereof capable of controlling a traffic transmission amount in a contents-centered network are provided to add a warning signal and transmit to an interest packet by predicting a congestion situation of network. CONSTITUTION: A processor (730) adds a warning signal which indicates a congestion situation to an interest packet which is received from a previous node based on whether a congestion of traffic is generated in a contents router or not. A memory (750) stores a pending interest table (PIT) about at least one interest packet which penetrates the contents router. A communication interface (710) performs a communication among a previous node, a next node, ant the contents router. The PIT includes a marked field which indicates whether a warning signal is added to the at least one interest packet or not.
