An electricity demand prediction system comprises: an electricity usage data collecting means (6); a production schedule storage means (8); a model creation means (9); and a short-term electricity demand prediction means (10). The electricity usage data collecting means (6) collects the electricity usage data of each device (3) and stores the collected data into an electricity usage data storage means (7). The model creation means (9) creates an electricity amount calculation model of each predetermined product type for each device (3) on the basis of the electricity usage data stored in the electricity usage data storage means (7) and a past production schedule stored in the production schedule storage means (8). The short-term electricity demand prediction means (10) calculates future electricity demand for each device (3) on the basis of the electricity amount calculation model created by the model creation means (9) and a future production schedule stored in the production schedule storage means (8).
