A support spring (3) extends between two spring plates, in which the first spring plate (2) is supported at a support point on vehicle chassis or in a damping cylinder of a vibration damper or a bogie link (5), via a bearing-connecting element. The first spring plate is mounted on the spring, upon the occurrence of higher suspension rebound movements of spring than the intended maximum droop, such that relative movement of spring in releasing direction is allowed between first spring plate and its supporting point, while maintaining connection of other spatial directions.
