The machine i.e. cross reeling machine (1), has a solenoid coil frame (8) for rotatable holding of a cross solenoid coil (5). The solenoid coil frame comprises solenoid coil frame levers (13, 14), which are provided with a stationary shielding cover (15). The shielding cover partly covers a rotatably mounted solenoid coil holder plate of the solenoid coil frame. The shielding cover comprises thread separation cutters i.e. V-shaped apertures, for cutting thread ends provided beside a lateral surface (31) of the cross solenoid coil after reeling interruption. The cover is designed as a pressure casting part and a deep drawing part.
