Disclosed are a method and device for determining a multi-data stream beam-forming vector, which relate to communication technology. The method comprises: obtaining a single data stream beam-forming vector by conducting complex conjugate transposition processing on an uplink channel vector; and obtaining other data stream beam-forming vectors through Schmidt orthogonalization. Because a characteristic value decomposition manner is no longer used to determine a beam-forming vector, the complexity in the process of computation is greatly reduced, and the vector computation accuracy is no longer influenced by the characteristics of a channel.
