PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor that can suppress a temperature rise of an intake refrigerant and improve its volumetric efficiency.SOLUTION: An electric compressor 100 includes: a compressor 11 that compresses an sucked refrigerant by using a driving force of an electric motor 19; and an inverter 10 that controls supply of power to the electric motor 19. The inverter 10 includes the compressor 11 on an entire surface in an outer casing side of the inverter 10, and a cooling fin 13 on a surface other than one including the compressor. Moreover, the inverter 10 includes a next-generation power element 16 having lower power loss than a power element made by Si on a back surface of a surface including the cooling fan 13 in an inner casing side of the inverter 10. In the next-generation power element 16, heat is dissipated by the cooling fan 13. |
