PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a handle that has a simplified cutting process to cut off a handle by cutting once with a cutting blade.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a handle 7 having a long metal fitting 7a including: a finger catching piece 8 on which the finger is put; a support piece 9 for supporting the finger catching piece at one end; a handle piece 23 having a front surface 23a disposed substantially flush with the back surface 9a of the support piece, and extending from the other end disposed to face the one end of the support piece, includes the step of inserting a cutting blade 40 obliquely toward an end side of the handle piece from the other end side of the support piece on the back surface side of the metal fitting when both ends of the handle piece in the longitudinal direction are cut and removed. |
