WAVE POWER GENERATOR, FLOATING STRUCTURE WITH THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WAVE POWER GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power generator that can perform the base isolation of a floating structure.SOLUTION: A wave power generator 1 includes: a weight 3 mounted through a spring 4 to a floating structure oscillating by wave power which vibrates according to a variation of the floating structure; and a generator 8 arranged on the floating structure which generates power by being driven by the vibration of the weight 3. The wave power generator also includes a control part having a base isolation mode which controls the vibration of the weight 3 so as to reduce the vibration of the floating structure using the generator 8 as an electric motor in addition to a power generation mode for generating power by the generator 8.
