The purpose of the present invention is to provide an active material, for a non-aqueous secondary battery, that minimizes increases in negative-electrode resistance, improves initial charging/discharging efficiency, improves the inhibition of gas production, and exhibits excellent cycle characteristics. The present invention pertains to a negative-electrode active material for a non-aqueous secondary battery, said active material containing the following: an active material (A) into/from which lithium ions can be inserted/removed; and an organic compound (B) that has a basic group and a lithium-ion-coordinating group and has a specific structure (S). |
