PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately set an image signal parameter in a high-resolution monitor and a submonitor, and improve the efficiency of diagnosis/examination.SOLUTION: A first mode which displays the observation screen size of an HDTV monitor with a first observation screen size corresponding to the monitor screen size of an SDTV monitor, and a second mode which displays it with a second observation screen size corresponding to the monitor screen size of the HDTV monitor are selectively set. Based on the switching operation signal of the magnification factor of the observation screen size displayed on the SDTV monitor or the HDTV monitor, the magnification factor of the observation screen size displayed on the SDTV monitor or the HDTV monitor is changed and displayed. |
