PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for an electrode, capable of manufacturing an electrode excellent in storage stability and favorable in adhesion and charge/discharge characteristics.SOLUTION: A binder composition for an electrode according to the present invention is a composition for manufacturing an electrode used in an electricity storage device, and contains a polymer (A), a compound (B) represented by the following general formula (1), and a liquid medium (C). The polymer (A) comprises fluorine-containing polymer particles or diene polymer particles, and the concentration of the compound (B) in the binder composition is 5-500 ppm.
