PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant operation training simulation technique that improves quality of plant operation training.SOLUTION: A plant operation training simulator comprises: a first interface 13 for receiving an operation signal 1 that varies a state signal 3 of a control apparatus of a plant from a trainee terminal 11; a second interface 14 for receiving an instruction signal 2 from an instructor terminal 12; a data processor 17 for simulating a process signal 4 of the plant on the basis of the state signal 3 or the instruction signal 2; a process signal selection section 20 that stores the process signal 4 together with the state signal 3 for a predetermined period and selects the process signal 4 coinciding with storage conditions out of a plurality of process signals 4; a back track storage section 34 for storing the process signal 4 selected by the process signal selection section 20 together with the state signal 3 corresponding thereto; and a back track reproduction section 31 for executing reproduction of the process signals 4 from any process signal 4 out of the plurality of process signals 4 stored in the back track storage section 34 as a starting point.
