PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately prevent exit of an operating oil in an engine stop in a variable valve mechanism such as a cam phase variable device or the like without providing another element such as an electromagnetic open/close valve, and to improve response of the variable valve mechanism in a next engine start.SOLUTION: Two points a, b passing one horizontal surface H1 are provided in a midway of an oil path 26 connecting an OCV 40 and a VTC actuator 30.
