PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet improving the piercing resistance of a can body manufactured with the same.SOLUTION: When manufacturing a specific 3000-series aluminum alloy sheet for a DI can body, baking conditions and hot rolling conditions for ingot are controlled to produce a cold-rolled sheet having a structure in which the amount of a coarse Mn-based intermetallic compound is a specific amount or less and a certain average amount of Mg in solution is ensured so that the can body formed therefrom by DI (drawing and wall ironing) has excellent piercing resistance even when used in a severe environment in which the can body has a lower internal pressure.
