A lamp (1) is formed by using a support member (9) to support a semiconductor light-emitting element (LED), which serves as a light source, within a container (3), in which an opening in a globe (35) is covered by a cover member (37) and by using an adhesive (56) to join one end of a case (5), the other end of which has a cap (7), to the cover member (37) side of the container (3). The case (5) is equipped with a protruding part (backing plate 54), which protrudes inward from the inner peripheral surface, on the cap (7) side of the adhesive (56). |
