PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy excellent in hot workability and cutting workability in a high strength austenitic steel.SOLUTION: A high strength austenitic steel contains, in mass%, 0.01-0.08% C, 0.01-1.00% Si, 0.01-2.00% Mn, 15.00 to less than 23.00% Ni, 13.50-16.00% Cr, 0.50-2.00% Mo, 0.01-0.50% V, 1.90-2.35% Ti, 0.01-0.40% Al, and the remainder of inevitable impurities and Fe. A retaining ring for a motor is composed of the high strength austenitic steel. |
