PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire cutting-off work auxiliary tool capable of cutting even a thick electric wire while supporting the electric wire nearby a cutting end.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric wire cutting-off work auxiliary tool 10 which includes holding portions 12 holding two nearby places of a power distribution line D and a connection portion 11 connecting the holding portions 12, and maintains a connection state through the connection portion by holding both sides of a cutting portion of the power distribution line by the holding portions, a work space for a cutting tool being secured at a periphery of the cutting portion of the power distribution line by interposing support portions 13 supporting the holding portions at separate positions respectively on both end sides of the connection portion. Further, play mechanisms 36 to 38 limiting a movement of the power distribution line while allowing a movement during cutting of the power distribution line are installed at at least one of connection support places between the support portions and holding portions. |
