PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for radiation-contaminated soil which reduces the volume and weight of radiation-contaminated soil, can improve the efficiency of work of each treatment stage of loading, carrying, temporary placement and final disposal, and can reduce business cost by dehydrating the radiation-contaminated soil to treat the radiation-contaminated soil as a solid matter in the case of decontaminating slurry-shaped radiation-contaminated soil.SOLUTION: A processor for radiation-contaminated soil of this invention reduces the volume and weight of radiation-contaminated soil by classifying radiation-contaminated soil 2, 8 into gravel and sand having low radioactive material concentration and slurry having high concentration by a classifier after washing the radiation-contaminated soil 2, 8 by a cracking agitator 20 and performing dehydration by a high-pressure filter press 57 to accumulate the radioactive materials into a dehydrated cake 60 after adding a coagulant to the slurry. Since the slurry-shaped radiation-contaminated soil is dehydrated and treated as a solid matter, the efficiency of work of each treatment stage of loading, carrying, temporary placement and final disposal can be improved and business cost can be reduced. |
