摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device that reduces excess and deficiency of an output torque with respect to a torque requirement utmost in at least one of a case in which the torque requirement is increased and a case in which decreased.SOLUTION: When a torque requirement 200 with respect to an engine is rapidly increased by turning on a switch of an auxiliary machine such as air conditioner and generating an external torque requirement (AuxTrq) and an amount of the increase of the torque requirement 200 is larger than an upper limit value (RtdLimTrq) of a reserve torque determined by a retard limit value of an ignition timing, an engine control device extends the upper limit value of the reserve torque in the increase direction, increases an intake air quantity according to the extended reserve torque and sets the ignition timing to the retard limit value. When the ignition timing is advanced and an output torque 210 is increased in accordance with the increase of the torque requirement 200, the deficient quantity of the output torque 210 with respect to the torque requirement 200 becomes smaller than that when the reserve torque is set to the upper limit value.
