The device (1) has a drive side (2) and a power output side (3), a positive-connection switching element designed as a claw clutch (4) and a frictional switching element that is designed as multi-disk clutch (5), and an actuator for operating the positive-connection and frictional switching elements. The actuator is designed as a pneumatic piston and/or cylinder unit (6) to act with pressure medium i.e. pressurized air. The claw clutch comprises inner and outer claws (4a, 4b), where the inner claws are arranged on the drive side. The multi-disk clutch comprises inner and outer slats (5a, 5b).
