The heat treatment furnace for warming curable metal sheet circuit boards of car body parts, which are subjected to a warm transformation process in a press, is claimed, where the metal sheet circuit boards are placed into girders of the furnace or supporting members, and one of the supporting members is a two part composite member having a radial inner supporting body made of ceramic material and a radial outer, tubular, metallic spacer, is present in contact with the sheet metal plate and prevents a direct contact with the supporting members. The tubular spacer is present in non-positive or frictional engagement communication with the supporting members, is a spiral spacer, and is friction wrapped with the supporting member. The metal sheet circuit boards comprise an aluminum-silicon coating and a support frame extending between frame bars and the supporting members. The radial inner support body is rotatably mounted in the metal sheet circuit boards, and the radial outer spacer is movable without contacting with the supporting body. A carrier is deposited on the curable metal sheet circuit boards. The furnace is heated for storing the metal sheet circuit boards. The carrier is positioned on stationary transport rollers through a furnace input and output. The supporting members are aligned in a transport direction (T) of the metal sheet circuit boards. Windings of the spiral spacer are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the supporting members via a free pitch (33), and/or the spiral spacer has a rectangular or circular cross-section (35). An independent claim is included for a carrier for a heat treatment furnace.</p>
