PURPOSE: A complex image display device and an image display method thereof are provided to prevent moire. CONSTITUTION: A complex image display device (100) includes an image output unit (110), transparent display unit (120), and selective transparent unit (130). The image output unit projects a first image. The transparent display unit, which is placed in front of the image output unit, displays a second image. The selective transparent unit, which is placed between the image output unit and the transparent display unit, adjusts transparency. The selective transparent unit controls the first image by selectively displaying the first image on a surface or passing the first image through the surface.
