PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a multi-phase rotating machine that allows appropriately detecting abnormalities of inverter sections of a plurality of systems.SOLUTION: A first inverter section 20 and a second inverter section 30 are provided for each of a first winding group 18 and a second winding group 19 of a motor 10, and switches conduction to the winding groups. A control section 70 controls operations of the first inverter section 20 and the second inverter section 30. The control section 70 can detect abnormalities of the first inverter section 20 and the second inverter section 30 by functioning as abnormality detection means. The control section 70 calculates first calculation values on the basis of phase currents of each system of the inverter sections, calculates a second calculation value on the basis of two values selected from the plurality of first calculation values calculated for each system, and detects abnormalities of the first inverter section 20 and the second inverter section 30 that are corresponding to the selected first calculation values when the second calculation value falls out of a predetermined range. |
