PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer capable of measuring accurate blood pressure even if measuring blood pressure continuously.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer includes an arm band part 2 having a blood blocking cuff 14 pressing the artery of a subject, and a sensor for detecting the state of the artery associated with the internal pressure change of the blood blocking cuff 14. Bag parts 250A, 250B inflatable and deflatable by the supply and exhaust of air are provided inside the surface of the arm band part 2, separately from the blood blocking cuff 14, and air is supplied to and exhausted from the bag parts 250A, 250B after the end of preceding blood pressure measurement and before the artery state detection of the sensor in succeeding blood pressure measurement when the subject measures blood pressure continuously. |
