PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve flexible communication by using a frequency band selected from a plurality of frequency bands and associating a downlink frequency band and an uplink frequency band with each other.SOLUTION: There is provided a communication system in which a base station apparatus and a terminal apparatus communicate with each other by using a plurality of frequency bands. The base station apparatus notifies the terminal apparatus of information that indicates mapping between one frequency band for downlink among the plurality of frequency bands and one frequency band for uplink among the plurality of frequency bands. The terminal apparatus acquires the information.
