PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high durability against moisture and oxygen etc.SOLUTION: An organic EL element 1 includes a source extraction electrode 30 electrically connected with a source line 12 in a sealing space. The source extraction electrode 30 is formed by the same film as a gate line 13 so as to be thinner than the source line 12 and traverses a formation region of a seal 29 to be electrically connected with a source terminal part 33 on a first substrate 10. A resin layer 20 is formed so as not to be disposed between the seal 29 and the first substrate 10. The source line 12 has a first conductive layer 12b and a second conductive layer 12c provided on the first conductive layer 12b.
