PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal turbine housing with reduced weight and with improved durability of a tongue part, while preventing occurrence of a crack caused by repetitive rapid heating in a tongue region as a winding end of a scroll, in a sheet metal turbine housing structure.SOLUTION: In a scroll part 3, both of scroll members 5, 7 are welded and joined over the entire circumference in a scrolling direction so as to be integrated. In a neighborhood region X of a tongue part 27 constituting a scrolling end of the scroll part, a welding joining line a1 is provided so as to be shifted from a tongue part forming region in a rotation axial direction of a turbine, and the tongue part 27 is formed of only one of the scroll members. |
