PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse removing device capable of distinguishing a pulse noise caused by vehicle electric and electronic parts from adjacent interfering noise, and of obtaining a good demodulation sound quality by removing only the pulse noise.SOLUTION: A pulse removing device comprises: a wide band LPF 14 passing only a band of a broadcast wave of a desired station and a side band of a broadcast wave of an adjacent station; a narrow band LPF 15 passing only the band of the broadcast wave of the desired station; a smoothing part 18 and a smoothing part 19 deriving respective reception power levels from outputs of the wide band LPF 14 and the narrow band LPF 15; a multiplier 20 raising a reception power level of only the desired station derived from the narrow band LPF 15 to a power level that is twice or more as high as the reception power level; a comparator 21 comparing the reception power level derived from the output of the wide band LPF 14 with the power level that was made be twice or more as high as the reception power level by the multiplier 20; a detection width extending part 22 extending a detection width of an output based on comparison result of the comparator 21; and a delay part 27 delaying an IQ signal for a constant time period in a pulse interpolation part 25. |
