<p>Provided are a simply configured pollination device and method for pollinating a plant, which make it possible to efficiently pollinate a plant without damaging the plant. A vibration outputted by a vibrator (12) is applied to a plant pot (P) retained by a retainer (11). At this time, the vibration is transmitted to a strawberry plant growing in the plant pot (P), the entire strawberry plant therefore shakes, and by extension, the flowers of the strawberry plant also shake. Accordingly, there is no need for the vibration to be transmitted directly to the strawberry plant, and although there may be a plurality of flowers blooming on the strawberry plant, there is no need to shake each of the individual flowers. Moreover, the pollination device (1) is of a simple configuration provided solely with the retainer (11), the vibrator (12), and a driver (13).</p> |
