<p>This die coating device is provided with a supply roller (20), a die (21), a take-up roller (22), a widthwise-web-edge position-detecting means (28) located upstream of the die (21), and a widthwise-film-edge position-detecting means (29) located downstream of the die (21). The die (21) has the following: a pair of inner deckles (35) that are provided at the ends of the die (21) and designed so as to be able to easily move inside the die (21); and a driving means (32). The positions of the inner deckles (35) relative to the die (21) are changed by driving the driving means (32) on the basis of information on the widthwise edge positions (30a, 30b) of a web (T) as detected by the widthwise-web-edge position-detecting means (28) and information on the widthwise edge positions (31a, 31b) of a liquid coating film (23) as detected by the widthwise-film-edge position-detecting means (29).</p> |
