PURPOSE: A wireless charging system for an electric vehicle and a charging method thereof are provided to quickly charge the electric vehicle by a noncontact wireless method. CONSTITUTION: A power control device(21) is connected to a wide area wireless communication network. A local area wireless communication network(14) is connected to the power control device and is installed in a parking lot. A wireless power transmitting device(22) is connected to the power control device and is installed in the parking lot. A wireless power receiving device(42) includes a wireless power receiving panel mounted on the lower side of the electric vehicle. A wireless charging terminal(43) is connected to the wireless power receiving device and is installed in the electric vehicle. |
