PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a technology for specifying a virtual server optimal for executing each job, and for allocating the job to the virtual server in accordance with processing situations in each virtual server.SOLUTION: In a virtual server management system 10 including a physical server 14, a plurality of virtual servers and a management server 12, the management server 12 includes: a resource distribution information storage part 40 for registering the holding resource quantity of the physical server and the allocation resource quantity of each virtual server; a job information storage part 42 for registering request resource quantity necessary for the execution of each job; a resource use situation calculation part 30 for calculating the excess resource quantity of each virtual server on the basis of the allocation resource quantity of each virtual server and the current use resource quantity in the virtual server; and a job allocation part 32 for specifying the virtual server optimal for the execution of each job on the basis of the excess resource quantity of each virtual server, and for commanding the execution of the job to the virtual server. |
