The actuator has actuator input (3) and actuator output (4) which are spaced apart from each other, along an actuator axis. An electromotor (12a) generating rotational torque is provided between the actuator input and actuator output. The actuator halves (10,11) provided with actuator input and actuator output are spaced apart from each other, along the actuator axis. The actuator halves are interconnected via torsion springs (15) for transferring twisting moment between actuator input and actuator output. An independent claim is included for rolling stabilizer.
