PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cyclic urethane capable of producing it under mild conditions.SOLUTION: This method comprises a process of reacting an aminoalcohol with carbon dioxide in a reaction system containing an organic solvent having polarity in the presence of a compound represented by general formula (11): (M)X, where Mis a Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, or alkyl ammonium ion represented by the general formula RNin which Rs are each independently a 1-20C hydrocarbon group; Xis CO, HCO, HO, HCOO, or CHCOO; and m is 1, or 2. |
