PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of an imaging apparatus which is not used.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises an imaging unit for picking up image light, multiple detection units for detecting conditions around the imaging apparatus and a control unit for shifting the operation state of the imaging unit to an idle state when the detection results from the multiple detection units meet predetermined conditions. A control program has a step of detecting conditions around the imaging apparatus including the imaging unit for picking up image light by using the multiple detection units and a step of shifting the state of the imaging unit to the idle state when the detection results meet the predetermined conditions. |
