PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supplying apparatus capable of maintaining security and safety in power supply even when communication with an apparatus that carries out an authentication function is cut off.SOLUTION: There is provided a power supplying apparatus including a terminal electrically connected to a terminal of another apparatus, an authentication information storage unit storing information regarding authentication of the another apparatus electrically connected to the terminal, and a power supplying control unit controlling power supply to the terminal. The power supplying control unit is operable, even when communication with an authentication apparatus that authenticates the another apparatus electrically connected to the terminal is cut off, to continue supplying power to the another apparatus, operable, when an electrical connection between the another apparatus and the terminal is cut, to stop supplying power to the terminal, and operable, when another apparatus is newly and electrically connected to the terminal, to control the power supply to the terminal by way of a comparison with the information stored in the authentication information storage unit. |
