PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and compactly constitute a mechanism for surely processing paper jam occurring in a paper conveyance path above a paper feed cassette.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a housing 2, a paper feed cassette 7, a manual paper feed conveyance part 27, and a lower conveyance guide pull-out mechanism 31. The housing 2 includes an attaching/detaching port 2A opened to the outside. The paper feed cassette 7 is removably attached to the housing through the attaching/detaching port. The manual paper feed conveyance part 27 includes a panel-like upper conveyance guide 28 and a panel-like lower conveyance guide 29 which are arranged almost horizontally above the paper feed cassette 7 and conveys paper Q fed between both guides 28 and 29. The lower conveyance guide pull-out mechanism is configured in such a way that the lower conveyance guide 29 can be pulled out from the housing 2 through an empty space formed after the paper feed cassette 7 is removed and through the attaching/detaching port 2A. |
