A transceiving method of packet decoding information for a packet service in a mobile communication system is provided to transmit packets only without sending packet decoding information if the packet decoding information of the packets to be currently transmitted is the same as predetermined basic packet decoding information, thereby efficiently using limited transmission resources. A packet encoding controller(825) compares packet decoding information of packets to be transmitted with predetermined basic packet decoding information. If the compared information is the same, a transceiver(830) transmits the packets through a common channel by using predetermined transmission resources without sending the packet decoding information. If the compared information is different, the transceiver(830) transmits the packets and the packet decoding information through the common channel by using transmission resources allocated for the packets. |
