PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent glare from reaching a preceding vehicle.SOLUTION: A lighting control device of a vehicle headlamp includes: a vehicle detection part 13 which detects positional information of a preceding vehicle based on an image of the view forward of a vehicle captured by a camera 10; a positional information recording processing part 14 which gains the positional information of the preceding vehicle detected by the vehicle detection part at a predetermined cycle, and records the positional information on a memory 12; a variation width detection part 15 which detects a variation width of a horizontal-direction position of the preceding vehicle in a predetermined period on the basis of the positional information of the predetermined period recorded on the memory; and a light distribution control part 16 which sets a light distribution pattern having a light shielding range corresponding to the detected variation width, generates a control signal in accordance with the light distribution pattern and outputs the control signal to the vehicle headlamp. |
