PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device and a light source device which can achieve size reduction and high optical output, and to provide an image forming apparatus and an image display device which can achieve size reduction and high optical output.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device (101) includes: a substrate (112); a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements (103, 104 and 105) which are arrayed on a main surface (112a) of the substrate and have cathode electrodes (114) and anode electrodes (113), respectively; and thin film wiring layers (116 and 117) which electrically connect from the cathode electrodes of the adjacent semiconductor light-emitting elements (103 and 104) to the anode electrodes of the other adjacent semiconductor light-emitting elements (104 and 105) out of the plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements.
