PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raised fabric and a method for manufacturing the fabric, in which the length of nap constituting a raised fabric portion can be uniformed.SOLUTION: The method for producing a raised fabric 1 comprises the steps of: raising a fiber on the front side of a fabric body 11 (fiber-raising step); then attaching a coating material 14 onto the rear side of the fabric body 11 having a protrusive portion to make the fabric rear face approximately flat (pretreatment step); and then evenly cutting nap constituting a raised fabric portion 13 formed at the fiber-raising step, using as a reference the fabric rear face being approximately flat after the pretreatment step (shearing step). |
