PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing a variation in an irradiation position of a laser beam caused by distortion of a transmission member so as to provide images with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An optical box includes: vertical openings 107a to 107c that can adjust at least one of a deflector 110, an imaging lens 103, and a mirror 105; and an emission port 109 that is provided on a top face of the optical box, and emits a laser beam L that is deflection-scanned by the deflector 110 toward a photoreceptor drum 1. The optical box has cover members 9 and 11 that cover the vertical openings 107a to 107c, and dust-proof glass 5 that transmits the laser beam L emitted from the emission port 109, which are fixed to the optical box. |
