A lamp formed by using a support member to support an LED, which serves as a light source, within a container in which an opening in a globe is covered by a cover member, wherein the globe and the cover member are formed from a glass material and the peripheral edge of the cover member is fused to the peripheral edge of the globe opening, the container is filled with a fluid that has higher thermal conductivity than air, the support member includes a bar member that is attached to the cover member and a support body that is attached to the bar member and equipped with the LED, and a suppressing member is placed between the support body and the cover member to suppress a decrease in the temperature of the cover member, which has increased in temperature due to the heat when fusing the globe and the cover member. |
