PURPOSE: An optical layered body, a polarizer, and an image display device are provided to suppress the generation of curl and interference fringe, to prevent a white turbidity feeling from generating, and to supply the polarizer and the image display device formed by using the optical layered body which can plan a thinning of a hard coating layer. CONSTITUTION: An optical layered body has an optical function layer on one surface of a light transmitting material. The optical function layer has a recessed shape.
