PURPOSE: A cushion for preventing bedsores and a method for controlling the same are provided to prevent bedsores by dispersing pressure due to the weight of a patient. CONSTITUTION: A cushion for preventing bedsores comprises an air mat part (10) which is comprised of two or more air cells (11) and allows a user to sit thereon, an injection control part for individually injecting air into air cells by controlling the path of air supplied from an air supply part (60), a cell pressure detection part for measuring pressure applied to each air cells through an air cell pressure sensor, a pressure analysis part for calculating a pressure time and a current pressure value, and a control part (40) for injecting air into the air cell by controlling the injection control part according to the calculated pressure time and the current pressure value.
