A method for obtaining parameters, base station and terminal equipment. The method comprises: receiving by a terminal equipment a request message sent by a base station reporting related parameters of a random access procedure occurred in at least one carrier, the request message including carrier identification information; and sending the related parameters of a random access procedure occurred in the at least one carrier by the terminal equipment to the base station according to the request message, such that corresponding random access optimization is performed by a network side by using the related parameters. With the method, the network side is enabled to optimize random access channels in a corresponding carrier, thereby reducing time delay and improving rate of success of random access, and solving the problems existing in a multi-band carrier system in the prior art. |
