A modular stage system and its components are disclosed. A pivotable locking plate (17) having apertures (18) is located on the opposite corners of the underside of floor components (5). Each corner of the floor component is provided with a downwardly directed boss (12) which engages with a corresponding upper end (15) of a tubular leg (14). The apertures (18) enable the legs of adjacent leg structures to be locked together thereby giving the stage rigidity and stability. Different plates lock different number of adjacent legs. |
