PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can store a plurality of still images before a second pressing operation by operation means even if a first pressing operation and the second pressing operation of the operation means are almost simultaneously performed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element 32 for imaging light from a subject; a storage section 34 for temporarily storing a still image depending on an imaging signal from the imaging element; recording means for recording the still image stored in the storage section in a non-volatile recording medium 36; operation means for enabling a first pressing operation and a second pressing operation which continues to the first pressing operation; a control section 30 for allowing the storage section to perform a storage operation of the still image in accordance with the first depressing operation to the operation means and allowing the recording means to perform a recording operation of the still image in accordance with the second depressing operation which continues to the first depressing operation; and a first detection section 6 for detecting a contact of a photographer to the operation means or a state just before the contact. The control section allows the storage section to perform the storage operation of the still image when the first detection section detects the contact of the photographer to the operation means or the state just before the contact. |
